St.Louis Fashion Week Recap!

Saint Louis Fashion Week has came and gone but the beautiful and oh, so trendy garments are still on all our minds! Saint Louis Fashion Week, put on by ALIVE Magazine, is a 10 day fashion event that featured 10 different fashion shows. All in just 10 days. Amazing. Here is a recap of the top 5 major shows throughout the week. Patterns on patterns, textures and tons of black and white where among some of the major trends seen this fall fashion week.

Thursday, September 26th was the first fashion show of the 10 day event. Fall into Fashion at the St. Louis Galleria featured many plaid ensombles as well as prints paired with other prints. Other trends shown on the runway were thick sweaters and flowy silhouettes.
These outfits are perfect for the upcoming season! Head to the Galleria to find your favorite look!

Indulge at Plaza Frontanac was on Friday, the 27th and featured many stores within the mall such as White House Black Market, Juicy Couture, Lulu Lemon and Lucky Brand Jeans. Layering along with leather were among some of the trends that stood out at Indulge. There were also a lot of thick fabrics, baggy sweaters, and slouchy pants that were seen in many of the different lines. Here are my favorites!

Saturday evening The Fabulous Fox Theater hosted the Project Runway Fashion Show. The Project Runway designers were: Anthony Ryan, April Johnston, Casanova, Laura Kathleen, Michael Drummond, Viktor Luna, and Joshua McKinley. And boy was this the show to see! So many fashionable and unique garments! White was a major trend for Project Runway along with colorful prints, structured and flowy sihouettes and sheer fabrics. Unfortunately, Tim Gunn did not make an appearance.

The beautiful Windows On Washington hosted the Project Design and Industry Nights on Wednesday, October 2nd and Thursday, October 3rd. Project Design featured many emerging designers competing to win a $2,500 check to fund their collections. There was so much raw talent and fabulous garments at this show! Every garment was so unique and beautifully different from the next! Watch out fashion world, this emerging designers have no fear and are not afraid to push boundaries with their garments!

Industry Night brought in many proclaimed designer's nationally as well as locally. The designers were: Jennifer Chun, Samantha Pleet, Eva Franco, Laura Kathleen, Wai Ming. The presentations were by: Anna Friss, Genevieve Cortinovis, Paulie Gibson, and Suzanne Lay. Navy and prints were a big trend at Industry Night, along with the same structured silhouettes mixed with flowy garments seen at the Project Runway show. We were even featured in the show! Luichiny, and Bronx made their debutes in Jennifer Chun's collection!

The Luichiny Law Rence! Perfect with this striped outfit!

Suprisingly enough this is a Bronx MEN'S Simple shoe! Not too bad for the ladies either!

The Bronx Inca Sandal is so versatile and can be paired with any pattern! So trendy!

Fall Fashion Week sponsored 5 other mini fashion shows as well as hosting many national and local bloggers! I think it is safe to say that fashion week was an amazing time for all!
